Theaterhof Neulengbach

The Theaterhof is the result of a gentle revitalization of the two vacant properties on Neulengbach’s main square. The existing building remains in its historical form on the main square and is extended and supplemented to the west in the former rear courtyard. The courtyard itself will be reframed and thus defined as part of the urban space. The main protagonist will be a new small theater adjacent to property no. 16. It offers the opportunity for various events, from performances and concerts to film screenings. The stage area can be opened up to the courtyard to allow open-air performances. In addition to the eponymous small theater, the Theaterhof also houses a room rental business, which occupies the upper floors of property 16. House no. 14 houses a café and a Park&Ride station. There is office space on the upper floor and apartments above. Building no. 14 is supplemented to the west by a timber construction, which, like the block closing off the courtyard, forms residential units. Below ground, the courtyard is supplemented by a parking garage, which is intended to relieve the main square in Neulengbach in terms of parking.
