Bob Martens

Bob Martens studied architecture and urban planning in Eindhoven and Vienna. 1987 Doctorate (Dr. techn.) in Vienna. 1993-1998 Head of the Department for Spatial Simulation (TU Vienna). 1994 Habilitation (see download on the right) in the field of “Spatial Simulation and Spatial Design”. Publications and lectures in the field of spatial design and on questions of spatial simulation. 1996 Award of the licence for architecture (civil engineer). Appointment as ao.Univ.Prof. at the TU Vienna with effect from 01.10.1997. President of the eCAADe-Association (1997-2001). Partner in the SciX Consortium (since 2001). Appointed course director of the university courses “Building Science and Technology” (29.12.2003) and “Real Estate Economics & Property Management” (19.10.2005). Appointed Dean of Studies for continuing education at the TU Vienna (01.10.2011 – deputy since 07.04.2005). Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors – RICS (since 2008).
