stay & work @ Alte Mühle

Under the title “stay & work @ Alte Mühle”, this project aims to create an overall ensemble that will be operated primarily as a small, privately run hotel and integrate a small co-working area. The demolition of the annexe built in 1970 makes it possible to erect a structure that takes up the typical topography of Spitz in its formulation. By incorporating or adapting the existing mill building, the forecourt and the garden, a hotel inviting to stay and work is to be created. The two buildings are connected by a common access core, which also serves to ensure accessibility. In the ground floor zone of the new building, in addition to the hotel reception and a buffet/breakfast & lounge area, there is a directly connected east-facing terrace. The co-working area operated by the hotel is also located on the ground floor of the existing part of the building. From the first floor to the third floor, a total of 20 rooms and six suites are distributed over both parts of the building. A panoramic roof terrace with a rooftop pool and a view over Spitz to the Danube and the Tausendeimerberg forms the head end of the new building. This roof terrace is complemented by a small wellness area located on the top floor of the existing building
