WN 12 Lab – Fly in fly out Lab

The project idea is to create a connection between the existing “Aviaticum” and the city centre. The concept, called WN 12 Lab, is understood as a workshop for which one takes out a membership and can then use a wide variety of tools and technologies, such as 3D printers, laser cutters, etc. The project is initially divided into a workshop room, within which visitors can work on models and prototypes themselves after visiting the museum. A glass wall between the workshop and the adjoining café extends the space and allows visitors to observe what is happening. Seminars and training courses are to take place in the second location, the so-called ‘Fly in fly out Lab’. On the ground floor, a café with a showroom has been set up to introduce visitors to interesting things to do with flying.
