The ggst. The project aims to strengthen the village community and focus on the necessary upgrading of the public space. The street level will be raised and the asphalt replaced with uniform paving. A play area for children with street painting and play furniture will be created in front of the kindergarten. Seating and greenery along the street, as well as water features at the foot of the historic steps, will invite people to linger. The future vacant elementary school will be converted as follows: a café with a small village store is planned on the first floor, offering regional and seasonal products from the surrounding farms in the village. The first floor will be extended by a single-storey extension to increase the space for the café. The upper floor houses a youth room, which can be used by the church, and a club room, which can be rented out as required. The elementary school is subject to as few structural measures as possible in order to save costs and preserve the existing building as much as possible.
