Living by the park

In addition to the existing three factory buildings, the “Wohnen am Park” project proposes a further point development in the south, while on the plot to the north a row house development is preferred due to the linearity. Thus all the buildings are arranged around an existing park with a large stock of trees, which forms the centre of the neighbourhood. A pavilion with a communal kitchen for all residents of the neighbourhood is located within this shared open space. The point building in the south also houses common areas for the entire neighbourhood on the ground floor. The flats on the two upper floors and in the attic are each oriented on two sides. In the listed factory buildings, on the other hand, the façade remains in its original state, with the exception of the docking of a separate lift tower. Functionally required cuts in the attic will only be made on the courtyard side. The required parking spaces will be covered by a jointly used underground car park.
