Description
The cellar lane of Großharras is oriented east-west and extends over a length of approx. 250 meters. Of the existing 53 cellars, 10 are still in operation today and are actually used for agricultural purposes. A further 10 cellars are used by individual groups as meeting places and event areas on a smaller scale and are therefore used for specific purposes. 43 of the cellars are effectively empty today and a further five of these are directly threatened by decay. This project initiates a lively discussion about cellar alleys in general and those in Großharras in particular.
