This project focuses on the theme of young and old living together. The design of the communal spaces and the outdoor area follows the premise of exchange and cohesion among the residents. Flats between 50-70 square metres are being built in the listed factory buildings. They will be complemented by an internal lift. The attic area will be converted and supplemented with additional terrace areas. The new building on the same site will be an ensemble of three solitaires, each with four storeys. The former garage boxes will be replaced by two smaller residential buildings, which will be accessed via a north-facing arcade – an approach that also has the advantage of offering barrier-free residential units.
