Move In – Bringing the Centre to the Centre

In order to efficiently promote the revitalisation of the city centre, this project aims to actively involve citizens in urban development. The Pop Up+ project includes a pavilion for citizen participation and a park structure that will provide space for urban workshops and social interactions between residents and the city. The results and development concepts will then be tested in a pop-up store for their economic viability and frequency of use. If successful, potential owners will receive support from the city and citizens to find a permanent business location in the city centre. In addition, the Borrow Box project aims to vitalise the city space. The integrated library of things includes household items, tools, and play and sports equipment that can be used in the outdoor space for recreational purposes. A place is generated that actively strengthens the cohesion of the neighbourhood and promotes joint activities, encounters and exchange.
