The project at hand envisages the creation of a building along Weinviertler Straße, which will house a doctor’s practice on the ground floor and a number of guest rooms above it, both for bicycle tourists and wine lovers. Towards the centre of the village, the building presents itself with a hipped roof in the sense of the prevailing building typology, but towards the courtyard or garden area, a wooden flat-roofed structure adds a deliberately contemporary contribution to the round of existing buildings. Following this, an extensive green zone opens up behind a rammed earth wall, which finally meets the existing barn, which is only given new uses in the form of a bicycle repair workshop and parking spaces by means of smaller installations.
