DAS KIRCHBERGER HAUS

 

This project aims to transform the former prison into a place of joy and togetherness. For this purpose, a youth meeting center will be set up in the basement of the building. On the first floor, a small library will be set up, complemented by work spaces that can be used by both students and professionals in their home offices. The upper floor, according to the concept, will be available for meetings and smaller events of all kinds. A priori, local clubs will be the main users. The top floor will be prepared for future uses with initially minor interventions. The existing building will be complemented by a garden café, which will become a meeting place for local residents and is deliberately embedded in the park-like garden.
