Pilgerheim und Dorfpavillon Röhrenbach

The project intends to sensitively integrate new life into the areas of the Spitalkirche. To this end, a pilgrims’ home concept is being considered, which is to become a contemporary spiritual place for urban refugees. The newly built pavilion and the large courtyard in the northern part of the grounds, on the other hand, are to be used for festivities and events. Village festivals, weddings, play evenings or concerts are planned here. The two smaller courtyards in the south will be used for relaxation and meditation. In the course of the development of the project, special attention was paid to the contemporary adaptation of a historic facility without impairing its historic appearance. Structural interventions were therefore reduced to a minimum and additions and new buildings were implemented appropriately.
