The present project addresses the topic of “cycle tourism” and proposes to erect a two-storey building on the property in question, which, in addition to a café, will house numerous guest rooms and some flats. A spacious entrance area allows visitors to quickly enter the sheltered courtyard area, which essentially serves as an extension of the café. All of the building’s distribution functions are grouped together centrally and, despite a certain diversity of functions, allow the building to be experienced as manageable and unobtrusive. The integration of the building into the existing scale is thus clearly taken into account.
